Holiday on the South coast

On Saturday 18th December we started our one week holiday on the NSW south coast. On the way to Kiama, we visited the Jamberoo water park. Juliana spent the whole day in the wave pool, but there was also minigolf.

Tired from the wave pool

Less tired. Piet and Emma also tried sliding down slopes in large inflatables.

Piet went with his dad on a large slide, multiple times.

On Sunday, we went for a tree top adventure.

Emma and dad did the zip lines in the trees.

The rest of the family went for the tree top walk,

which was high enough.

A lookout on the way back to Kiama, where we had rented an apartment at a short walk from a beach (not too attractive because of the steep slope, which causes dumping waves, and the access through a caravan park).

But we could also walk to Kiama's smaller blowhole.

We spent three nights in Vincentia on Jarvis Bay.

There was only a bike path between our house and the bay.

Nowra's zoo was nice.

Lots of Australian animals (plus a lion).

We gave the kids their big Christmas present early. The stand-up paddle board was appreciated. The bay with low if any waves was a good spot to practice. After three days (the last one rainy), the kids were keen to go to Bendoc. Four of us did a Rapid Antrigen Test for Covid, as the PCR testing was a mess for the first time in the pandemic.
